Burner igniter won't "spark"

Two of the three burners on my Wedgewood Vision stove won't "spark" to ignite any longer. I can light them with a match. I've taken off the top of the stove and it appears that the wires are firmly attached. Anyone have any advice to offer? I'm out of warranty so this is something I'll have to fix myself.

make sure you have a good ground,which on most of these is picked up from the mount of the ignitor.
remove the ignitor and clean the suface of the ignitor where it contacts the stove and the area of the stove where the ignitor mounts

If by chance you've recently set-up extended camp / moved to a high altitude...spark ignitors may have difficulty working there...

We have been here for four months at about 2500 feet. Don't know if that's considered high altitude or not. One "sparker" does work. I'll have to see what happens when we get back home to the lowlands. Also, I'll try what the earlier poster said to do. Thanks for the suggestions.

I had the same thing happen to my stove. On closer inspection I noticed that the heat from the element had melted part of the insulation off of the wire.The wire was wrapped around the gas tube.
There was no spark because it was shorting out on the pipe. One I fixed and rerouted the wire everything was fine. The stove top opens by pushing rearward and lifting up.

I had the same problem. I found that two of the small pin connectors on the ends of the wire from the ignitor had come out of the ignitor button thingy. If you push back on the stove top then lift up you can raise the burner top to expose the burners and the ignitor. Likely the connector has come out of the ignitor or has shorted out as previously mentioned.
