Caulking

Looking for a caulking that stays looking clean and not dirty after a few months. Any experience in using on vertical sealing would be great.
Thank You
Terry

I used clear Geocel around windows, door, etc. Mostly see the color that is under it and not stark white that looks dirty later. Not perfect but works.

I just started using Proflex recently. I guess it's called Geocel Proflex. Didn't realize that.

What have you used in the past?

I use OSI Quad, stays nice and clean. You can purchase it at nearly any DIY hardware store. It is sticky stuff, so tape off the area you do not want it attached to.

I used their clear version 2 years ago on my house between the brick and wood, when I repainted. I do not like that is is starting to turn yellow. On the house it is not a big deal, but I would hate it on the TT.

I noticed in the last few years, on the forum it seems more and more people are recommending ProFlex verse OSI Quad. What is the advantage of ProFlex over OSI Quad?

Looking at the price, it must be really good stuff for being over 2x the price (local purchase prices).

ProFlex: https://www.amazon.com/Geocel-28101V...92147168&psc=1

OSI Quad: https://www.amazon.com/OSI-Sealant-1...s%2C182&sr=8-6

I use it because it's RV specific. I know, silly. But I've had good results with it. Seems to last longer too.

I chose it after checking with Jayco to see what they recommended. They said they use Geocel. I used the clear Proflex on all my siding seams, windows, doors, furnace compartment etc. A couple of years later, you still have to look hard to tell it’s even there. No dirt buildup.

It’s easy to work with. Maybe the posts about OSI being sticky scared me toward Proflex, LOL.
