Checking AC tightness

So I read about AC not being tight enough coming from the factory. I was going to check ours but not sure how on the new whisper quite AC.
There is no faceplate inside the camper where AC is. So do I have to remove outside AC cover and check there?

You posted this awhile back and received no replies. In a word yes. The best way is to take the cover off and check the installation from the top. If your unit wa not installed correctly. If this is a unit under warrantee take it in not because you can't do the repair but if a water leak ever Delors you want to have established the cause was from a bad factory install. If not check the flashing and integrity of the RTV sealant.

If you have a MACH 8 it is the top down mount. Once you remove the outside cover you also need to remove the cover (grey) over the evaporator to get to the lag screws holding it to the roof. Doubt very much it is loose since the ones in question have been the ones with the standard inside mounting bolts.
