City water connection and outdoor shower

Jay Feather 29Y. Wen camping last time out...the brass fitting on city water connection screwed loose resulting in water leaking into the pan. I managed to screw it back into the interior connection, but still it leaks.
To get inside the wall, it was recommended to remove the outdoor shower to see into the wall and possibly fix the problem.
I removed all the hardware, but can't seem to get the shower "box" to come off...even pushing from inside.
Any suggestions short of dropping the pan would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!

The shower box is schmucked to the cutout in the wall with rope caulk. You'll need to slide a thin putty knife or similar device in behind the flange to get it loose.

Not really sure of what you mean by "dropping the pan". That term is usually associated with transmission repair.
