Convertor on 2015 pinnacle

need help! Convertor breaker was tripped. When reset breaker, flash like arcing happened. Battery status on Zantrex Pro shows battery at 11.9 but convertor is flashing normal mode not boost. All fuses have been checked. We have two batteries and trailer has only been used one week prior to this trip with no problems. Help!!

Take the cover off and make sure all the connections are tight, you may have a loose wire. Sometimes they don't tighten them enough.

Convertor

All connections are good. Everything's working fine. 11.9 reading fine? Convertor goes from boost to normal correctly. Maybe worrying for nothing.

11.9 is not good, your battery should be reading at least 12.4. In boost it should jump to 13.5-14. Wonder if your Inverter controller is bad. I would check the battery directly with a volt meter. You could also have a bad battery.

Batteries are fine. We have the batteries charging off our truck just fine. Letting the truck run to fully charge. Next question. Since the convertor is obviously blown should we turn the breakers to the convertor totally off as to not hurt anything else?

The converter may not be totally blown, just the battery charging circuit. Do your 12v lights work with the battery disconnected? If you don't have lights without the battery then turning the converter off would be fine.
