Dealing holes

I removed a cabinet with the radio that we never use. The hole that the wires were I put up a led light.
The 4 screw holes now need tp be patched. What do I patch the holes with?
This made more room and opens up the front of the trailer.

For a longer term fix use wood filler but don't fill all the way to the top. Then use wax crayons from the paint department of a good store or a wood working specialty store. You can also get stain to stain the wood filler but some wood fillers don't accept stain. Try going to a woodworkers specialty store with a door or piece of trim and they will fix you up.

Seems like a lot of running around and expense for 4 screw holes!!!!! Good quality furniture repair kits are available at your closest Home Depot or other big box home improvement store. I've repaired many a screw hole with only a wax crayon and would challenge anyone to find the spot?

I forgot but I have a panel formerly held by two screws that gives access to my pump and shutoffs. I added two self closing hinges but was faced with two nasty holes. So I took the bronze colored screws, cut them short and glued them into the holes. Now they serve only decorative function. Could you do the some with some nicely colored screws?

If on your ceiling............I would use the point of a knife or small flat head screwdriver to gently work the excess material (that usually is displaced by the screw) back towards and into the hole. Sometimes you can hide the hole that way alone, sometimes needs a tiny dab of silicone to make things blend in again. Has worked for me in the past........hid 8 holes in the ceiling when I took the bedroom ceiling curtain rod down.

You can buy colored plastic hole plugs/caps at ACE.

I will use them on the wall. Silicone did a good job on the ceiling. This mod made good results.
