Dometic Water Heater quit working

Our 2022 dual-heat WH-6GEA water heater quit working midway thru our second outing of the season. There is no firing under gas-mode, nor heating under electric-mode. The OM speaks of a red fault indicator light but I find none on the until or the central control panel. I expected a reset button but there doesn't appear to be one. Service Departments are booked for +3 months now. Any troubleshooting tips for a semi-capable RV owner suggested?

Could be the thermal cut-off. Under the unit TSTAT wire. It's worth a shot.

Check part no. 93866. Not sure it's the exact one but you can see what I'm talking about. Would be great if it's that easy.

Check the fuse that services the WH. If the WH is getting 12v I’d suspect the cut-off as TWP suggests, if it proves to be good I’d suspect the control board.
Search YouTube for troubleshooting suggestions.

water heater issue solved..thanks for the help

Spot on with the thermal-coupler suggestion. Pulled it off and tested for continuity..it was bad. Placed a jumper across and the water heater fired on command.

Order a replacement and noted an offer that included 2 thermal-couplers and a spark ignitor combo so hopefully I'm prepared on the road for the next issue.

Again, thanks for the quick and accurate advise.

Safe travels from Sophie's Folks
