Don't underestimate grasshoppers

Now to order a new kitchen window screen
I almost feel bad that I fed him to my chickens when I found him on the table resting....nah....not really

Yup, I found him on the table and thought "Now how the heck did he get in here!?" Then I found the hole chewed in the screen...they do it a lot out here, it's why most people don't like synthetic screen and pay extra for metal. Every screen in our house has holes chewed in them.

They will def eat porch screens.
Be glad you just have grasshoppers. I once rented a house that had house centipedes and I have never in my life seen anything so bizarre and lovecraftian in appearance.

If you mean these guys, we have those too. They eat Wolf Spiders so I don't mind them. I love spiders but not Wolf Spiders, they are pure evil.

Dag gone! I never knew they'd do that. Learn something new every day.

Yeah I did a Google search as soon as I came in contact with the first one. Apparently these guys are super handy to have around because they're totally bad ass and will eat any type of insects/bugs. The perfect weapon in terms of pest control. Of course having them run over your bare feet will give you the heebie jeebies.
