electric motor for rear stablizer isn't working

This is the second time the electric motor for the rear stablizer for my 2008 Designer has failed to work. The 1st time was on the second trip thankfully the unit stopped working while the jacks were in the up position and the unit was replaced under Jayco warranty. Just returned from another trip and this time the replaced motor failed(@ 3 yr mark) while the Jacks were in the down position. Thankfully I had watched the tech during the first failure and knew what to do and was able to get the motor off and the jacks up.....not sure if I want to replace the motor and deal with the manufacturer or just have the hand crank......other suggestions.

I just had and issue with mine. Thankfully they got stuck in the upright position after a long 400 mile ride home. Turns out that a wire came loose and the switch also went bad. Motor was good and once the wire was fixed the remote worked for them while the switch was in transit from Jayco.

Point being that it may not be the motor you need as it could be another issue which might be worth looking at.
