Electrical Issues...

Today, out the blue, the electric water heater is not working... the propane HW heater is working.

The refrig does not work in electric mode, but works in propane mode

Some outlets don't work... most do.

Probably a reasonable explanation...

50 amp or 30? Check your rig breakers and check the shore power breakers

What style shore power connection do you have? Sounds to me like you have lost a leg of power from the info provided?

Or they’re on a gfci circuit. Check and reset all your gfci outlets.

It really depends on the unit. My fridge is on a GFCI.

Fridge should be. The outlet is in the outside compartment. WH could be on the same circuit. I’m just trying to give suggestions of where to look.

Water heater's are on a separate breaker all by themselves.

As an electrician I would remove the fridge from the GFI circuit. Too easily tripped and food lost in the fridge.

Yes it is in an outside conpartment but it is not a convenieance outlet and require some sort of tool to access. Not NEC required to be on GFI. Costly food loss if triped. I wouls remove it from GFI circuit.

That was it! Thank you. I didn’t look at the surge protector as closely as I should have when I hooked up. The indicators on one leg for the 50 amp plug were dark. Plugged into the 30 amp and all is good!
