Factory Defect you have discovered and resolution

Look at how the factory releases these units. Gas line runs up against the fresh water drain valve mount bracket. This will eventually cause chafing & a propane leak. I can already see a mark where it will happen. Dangerous

My 29.5 BHDS had wiring from the electric water heater going nowhere. What’s worse is that whoever wired the trailer ran the circuit for the water heater from the breaker panel to the backside of the GFCI circuit on the receipt behind the fridge. This obviously made the GFCI circuit unprotected.

But my favorite is how they left the rear gray water tank drain handle up in the under belly above the plastic liner.

Yeah but you will have a new awareness of what to look for on your pre inspection

Rob, just curious: I understand the gas line, but were those wires hanging down like that when you left the dealer?

Think it can't happen? On the way back from a trip last month I discovered my trailer brakes were not working. I had some 8-9% downgrades coming up, so I pulled off into a rest stop and did some troubleshooting. Eventually, I found a dangling brake wire had gotten cut in two by the suspension.

You would think that would blow a fuse but no. I guess the wire is just too small to blow a 30 amp fuse all the way back in the truck. By the way, my trailer's wiring didn't look near as bad as Robert's picture.

I never looked when I took possession. It was my first RV of any kind so this was all new to me. After a few months I decided to do a visual after checking tire inflation & the wires caught my eye.
