Favorite Water Pump Brand?

It seems I'll be replacing a water pump. Fortunately we are a day away from home so it won't be emergency road repair. I couldn't find a thread on brand recommendations. Anyone have an opinion on what to buy?

I think like most people quiet is appealing.

Any other things I should do while doing the replacement?

Shurflo has always been my "go to" as to quiet that depends more on how the plumbing is connected. I'd look at the silencing kit if you have room to install it.

As far as noise here is what I did, now we never hear the pump running. I mounted the pump to a piece of plywood using rubber isolators, on the bottom of the plywood I glued a piece of high density foam rubber, then mounted the whole assembly to the floor. Ours is on the floor under the kitchen sink. I also installed the kit Grumpy had a link to. Made a huge improvement.

That is exactly what I planned. I added the rubber mat when I installed the accumulator, I was planning on adding the plywood and a second layer of rubber.
