Fiberglass front cap hail damage, NEED HELP

Recent hail storm with up to 4 1/2” diameter stones damaged my TT. Have several indentations and several circular cracked marks. Is there a way to repair these without a specialist needed. FYI, House and out buildings received $40k damage.
Thanks

It is that time of year.... Based on my experience (twice - golfballs the first time and baseballs the second), I think you will find more damage than just the cap. Jayco does build a better roof structure that the trailers I had at the time, but the size of hail we both experienced caused severe damage to my old TT. We had hits go through that roof and break the ceiling. Water in the vents and lights. Roof vents/skylight broke allowing water in, etc... Many of the plastic parts (lights, range vent) had cracks. My metal door frame was bent. Just like a home roof claim, materials can be damaged with little initial visual clues.

I posted pictures of some of that damage in the other current hail damage thread. https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...age-77042.html

My initial home damage estimate was right with yours at 39K. That is now north of 70K once the actual work is occurring. There was no type of material that was safe that day. My grill lid was 1/8" stainless steel and it was dented. The roof is steel and rated for 3" hail. It was replaced due to being crushed at mounting points. The deck surfaces all had to be replaced, even though the insurance company wanted me to "pressure wash" them to solve the divots.

Take pictures, more pictures and more pictures of every little detail of house, cars, RV and any personal items. Keep them and label them well. You may need them later for claim disputes. We found the process to be a real PITA. It was not that way with a previous claim.

Thanks MadMax,
I’ve taken so many pics I’m starting to think I’m a professional photographer, LOL. My 2020 TT is 37’ 8” my RV cover is 12x36 thus the front cap damage.
Thank God I had the foresight to have 3 rows of tin on the South or I would have had more damage, of course the cover is totaled.
This storm was just last week and I’ve still got roofing and siding contractor coming for estimates. I guess I call my RV insurance to see what they say. I was hoping for a fix I could do, but with the cracks I’m not sure
Again Thanks for your reply and Stay Safe

That makes sense. If the cap is cracked, I would want them to fully replace the cap (by a reputable RV shop or RV body shop). I would not want to have fiberglass repair done.

It could be a Colorado thing, but the Good Hands people had changed the rule on deductibles here. A single event that caused a claim on the house and vehicles only caused a single homeowners deductible to apply. They even refunded one of the vehicle deductibles after they noticed the mistake.
