Fold down steps self deply
I've had this happen a few times, usually when a strong cross wind gives them a shove. Best preventive measure we've come up with is to put a bungee (good ol' bungees) across them when traveling. Not the best fix. using a couple of the existing holes, a bungee stretched across will hold them fine, but if you unhook just one side the bungee gets bound up in the steps once they're down. Besides, it looks kind of sad. Has anyone else come up with a better remedy? I'm very hesitant to drill anywhere on them and risk weakening them.
The steps on my Eagle 5er are the 3 step model.
