Fresh Water Tank Burping

Have a 165 sport with a 30 gallon fresh water tank. When filling it for about 15 seconds it burps at you and spits water out. This is causing a leak inside everytime it spits the water out. I removed the outside fitting and doubled up on the clamps. It still drops water everytime it burps. The hose isn't filling up just more like trapped air in the tank as it expands and contracts. Has anyone ever had this problem? Can you add a vent hose or something? It doesn't have one I looked.

My buddy had the same problem with his new to him TT. It's the air in-take valve next to the fill that is probably clogged and not allowing a pure flow of water. Just like opening the small air portal on the back of a gas can for example...allows for smooth pouring of gas. That was his problem we found out...anyway...hope this helps some.
