Fresh water tank filling up and not supposed to

Have a new 2018 Jayco Eagle fifth wheel. Our fresh water tank keeps filling with water and we are not filling. It’s just happening. What the heck is going on?

Make sure you are on City water settings. Not normal or city fill

If your settings are correct on the manifold it could be the back flow valve on the water pump has gone bad.

I'm assuming that is what is wrong with mine. Every few minutes my pump burps.

Krod,

Can you be a little more specific? I’m not sure I fully understand the problem.

I have never filled my fresh water tank or used my fresh water pump. I have always been connected to water with the valve in the correct position. At the end of the summer I opened the FW tank low point drain just for fun and was surprised when it drained several gallons of water onto the ground. Had our dealership look at it and they said they could find nothing wrong. Curious to try again in the spring when we start camping.

Yours may have been left over from when the dealer filled it to test the pump or do your PDI.
