Fresh Water Tank Repair

Hello All, I have a 2017 Jayco 28bhbe with a gravity fill fresh water tank... Not overly complicated except I have a fill tube that looks to have been pierced by a uncovered screw behind the fill port... Wish I tested the fill port within my warranty. Does anyone have any insight into how to replace the tube and how to get to the tank to do this work...

Do you have an enclosed underbelly? If not access to the tank is very easy from underneath. As far as a fix goes, can you see the screw? If you can get at it to remove it you may be able to repair the hole with some epoxy or flex seal tape.

Underbelly is all wrapped up... Is there access from inside the unit... Way I figured out I had a problem is that the puncture allowed the water to go inside the unit....

I can't think of a way to access the tank or the filler neck from inside. I have the same camper only a 2016. The tank is pretty much directly under the gravity fill port
