Fridge hinge repair

I have seen several posts about broken refrigerator hinges (mine is a Norcold) and found as many DIY fixes. After studying many of these (Great) fixes, here is my rendition. Took me about 1.5 hours, and was a fun project. The door operates smoothly, and fits square in the hole. I used a 3/32th piece of flat stock, and shaved off the plastic boss on the old hinge, which gave a net fit same as OEM. I did JB the old hinge on for extra strength and to get a good alignment on the pin hole.

Hi Jopopsy-- Thanks for the offer, I repaired/fabricated/designed and built for a living 42 years-- I just sold my bussiness 4 years ago and am really enjoying my free time. I see on line there are hinge repair brackets for these, for under $20.
