Front and rear caps cracked

My 2014 RSQS has cracks in the front and rear caps. The rear cap was noticed when looking at the rig before we bought. Was fixed, and front cap was found at walk through. Several other Pinnacles on the lot also had cracks. Is headed back to dealer for front cap repair and list of other warranty issues. Any body else have or seen issues with the caps?

Wow, that would be of great concern to me, sounds like something is flexing in the structure or frame causing the cracks.

Our 2011 Pinnacle has many miles of fulltime use on it now, some on very rough roads, we have no cracks in the front or rear caps.

The front cap on my 5th wheel has several surface cracks in it. The dealer is working with Jayco to determine a repair option.

We just dropped our 2013 31.5 RLTS at the dealers today to have cracks at the top right corner of the front cap fixed. Last year they fixed cracks where the side wall, roof, and the cap meet ( side of cap ). This year its cracking from the clearance light heading to the old cracks which are reappearing. They are to remove the mouldings to see what is happening. They said they would remove mouldings last year but did not ( its good to take before and after pictures ). We have 11 months of warranty left so we hope they will get it fixed.

I was told by 2 RV dealers to stay AWAY from anything that had a plastic type cap (front or rear).,..especially in our cold climate they will crack after 1-2 or 3 winters...

Got the 5w back last week and it looks good they found two staples at the corner of the wall that had not gone all the way in and were pushing in the cap. They found this by cutting a hole in the cap and then re-fiberglassied it back together. We just need to use it more to see if it works ok.

We had the front cap replaced after our first year due to a crack above the running light on the driver side of the FW. Jayco opted to replace the entire cap rather than trying to fix the crack.

I think you should call Jayco Customer Service. Perhaps your dealer doesn't want to tackle that type of job.
