Front Cap Paint Choice

I have a 2018 321RSTS which has the dreaded paint/clear coat failure. I had it repainted for free under warranty about a year after we bought it in 2017. A year or so later that clear coat started peeling. I’m planning on getting it painted again, this time on my dime.
My question is, because I’ve had so much trouble with clear coat, should I paint it with a single stage paint instead of base/clear?

Thanks

A problem with clear coat peeling sounds like improper surface prep and poor painting practices. I would talk to a good body shop/painter about how to fix the problem. I think either paint would work and has it's advantages and disadvantages, but it really is all about the prep!
