Front door grab bar

Hi everyone,
Getting ready for first trip in 2 weeks and the bolts holding the front door grab bar at the steps are loose. I have tightened them twice in our first year. They do tighten, but have worked their way loose. Is a little slop normal or is this indicative of a bigger concern. The TT is a 2016 JayFlight SLX 287BHSW.
Thanks in advance, Steve

And on a similar note. Why don't manufacturers use something other than that crappy rubber on the grab bar? I have yet to see one that isn't ripped.

I've rewrapped several with parachute cord and then painted with thined outdoor glue. That lasts for quite a while.

Are these hex bolts or screws? Do they have a lock washer on them? I would use a little blue loctite on them. Just don't strip them out.

Might require next size (SAE or metric) screw. Blue Loctite helps.
