Have you used a can of compressed air to blow grit out of the igniter? One grain of sand will cause that.

Try turning your tanks off. Crack a line somewhere easily accessible to relieve pressure and reconnect. Then open the tank valves VERY slowly. There is a safety feature that will cut off flow if valves are opened too quickly.

Welcome to the forum.

On your 3rd trip... Did the stove and water heater work before?

How do you know gas is getting to the stove? Do you hear the 'hiss' at a stove burner? If so, then the line is being pressurized by the propane and might be pushing air out ahead of the propane.

If the stove lights, but won't stay lit, you may have a restriction in the line or the line might have a leak somewhere between the tank and the stove.

This is very rare, but your propane itself could be bad. Just to be sure, try taking your tank and put it on your gas grill directly and see if that will light.

Do you have an auto switching regulator? Are both tanks full?
