Had a pretty major blow out a couple of days ago. Tore up the fender well area.

DOT code shows a 2017 manufacture date and it’s supposed to have a 6 year warranty, but Goodyear says nothing they can do. Getting 5 new Goodyear Endurance anyway at Discount tire.

On a separate note, I have a Tireminder A1A. I received so many false signals, that when it gave me a real alarm, I ignored it. Stupid on my part, but I’ll be replacing the TPMS with something more reliable.

Bummer....what was the pressure? According to the Goodyear Inflation chart I air mine up to only 60psi. I use a EEZ tire monitor that has never given me false alarms. My tires were put on 2 years ago with a 2019 date code. They don't show hardly any wear or cracking after 9000 miles of travel.

I was running at about 80. That’s what the sidewall says. What chart are you talking about?

Here is the chart. I used my CAT scale weights to determine tire weights.

I had an older TM that gave frequent false alarms. I discovered it needed a signal booster/repeater and once installed it performed great. When it died I bought a newer model and it’s performed flawlessly.

Bummer OP, sorry to hear that. A TPMS that crys wolf is worthless. The good news is that this is still a 1st world problem!

I love your perspective. You are right! Virtually a non- issue!

Not to make light of it, by any means. I try to remind myself that most of my "problems" would be a joy to many people in the world. Think about it, our vacation homes require a litle bit of work to stay in tip top shape. Millions of people around the world don't have a roof over their heads, let alone a mobile roof to take on vacation.

I find when I give myself a little persepctive, my problems aren't as bad as they initially seemed. Its still a burden, it will still cost you hard earned money, time and frustration. But thank God for our "problems"!

Glad it wasn't worse, glad you are safe and healthy and enjoying life!!!

Ouch, glad you were okay.

I've got the TireMinder i10 with a repeater and it works really well. Maybe you just need the repeater/booster?

On the chart Route 66 Traveler posted. I ran my D rated Endurance tires at sidewall of 65 PSI the first trip. Every door popped open, stuff all over floor, etc. Read the chart and reduced to 55PSI based on scale weight and no problems since. I had C rated 50 PSI tires but was glad to wave bye to my Raineers. I cruise at 70 most of the time on good interstate so the 65 MPH rated Raineers slowed us down.

Have to wonder if this is the beginning of something; 2017 was the year they were introduced. I don't have a lot of trust in Goodyear for RV tires. Their 20-year coverup of the G159 RV tires that caused multiple deaths still bugs me; there are still some death traps rolling around on those time-bombs (although all would be past prudent service life).
These Endurance tires are just now approaching an age where troubles are going to start appearing. A bit more time will tell if they are really any more reliable than other brands overall. I certainly wouldn't pay a premium for a tire too new to have a track record.

If your trailer was fully loaded which is 2,985 water, propane, black tank, gray tank, batteries food, spare tire, optional equipment solar panels, jacks, BEER, BOURBON and gear everything. Your tires could carry 168 extra pounds each

I run a TST tpms system and love it. No issues with it at all.
I also got GY Endurance tires but I got mine in 19 and no issues yet. Mine are E tires and run them at 80 psi also.
My TST system has alerted me a couple times to the right side tires getting too hot. Reason is when my diesel goes into regen the exhaust gets really hot and all that hot air is being blown onto the trailer tires.

Man, that was bad. Sorry for your troubles. I have run the Endurance tires on our fifth wheel for a year and a half and a couple of boat trailers with no problems.

Like Moseh I had no idea these tires had a load chart. Our previous fifth wheel had 17.5 wheels and tires and I used a chart for them but I figured these were whatever was printed on the side wall. I have 11,620 pounds on my axles which was weighed at a QT truck stop fully loaded for a month long trip to the Colorado mountains. According to the chart I only need 45 pounds of pressure which seems insane to me. 45psi gets me 2960 lbs per tire for 11,920 if I'm looking at it right. I may go to 60-65 but 45 scares me.
