I just had to replace tire on my Northpoint it is an Endurance cause of whole near side wall outside tread. got it through a tire place and it cost me over 260.00 just for one. Kind of high for one tire. It came from Cleveland, Ohio but had to have it for trip next week.

Exactly why did you have to replace it? Your post is fuzzy Sounds like they are price gouging because of the shortage.

Master track ST225/75R15 10MA 203 L/RE
Tire load 2860 lbs, 10 ply, speed rating 87 mph. Bought from Goodyear. These are a trailer tire. Have had good luck so far. I also learned to check what psi your rims are rated for. These are a 85psi tire and my rims are rated for that. Higher ply tires can exceed the 85 psi rating. Some wheels are rated much lower.

Are Sailun tires available from dealers in the US without having to order them online?

I just had dinner with a tire rep who has his own 5th wheel. He managed western US for Michelin, and now works with a nother company. He says Goodyear has closed down the Endurance tire line for a few years. He says all the tires are coming from China now, but there is a good one named Salium and he suggests buying the most plys for your tire size. I don't know this brand but I'm just sharing.

Hartland All Steel ST G rated tires are being pushed by Discount Tire to compete with the Goodyear Endurance. And they're cheaper than Goodyear Endurance. Not sure which one will be my next set of tires.

I had Maxis tires on my previous unit. Yes, there made in China but they held up for 3 years and 12,000 miles. They still looked good when I sold that 5th wheel. There a good bit heavier than most tires, the dealer was surprised.

I just experienced the same thing and ended up getting Carlisle HD radials for my race trailer. Looks like a great tire and Carlisle is a known trailer brand. Speed rated at 81 mph. They were around $110 each vs the $130 or so for the endurance. Size was 205/75/15 - D load range.

I was able to get 4 Goodyear Endurance tires from Tire Rack late last year. At the time they were $190 each.

IMO , Kenda are better tires. We swore by them at work on our heavy utility trailers. I'v got the Goodyears on my 5th Wheel and not really happy with the wear, We would get tons of miles out of them on our trailers at work and never had any failures,

Cooper is now Goodyear, Goodyear bought them out early this year.

I'll need new tires soon. I spoke to my dealer yesterday and he recommended Carlisle. I was hoping to hear some good reports before pulling the trigger.
