grey tank joint leaking

not the valve or tank itself but a joint
where 2 clamps are

it looks like I just need to loosen screw clamps
clean and remove old sealant
let dry
apply new sealant
tighten screw clamps

I see no cracks or damage

sound familiar or common?

I just want to mention they do make rubber pre-formed gaskets that fit those entry points. I remodeled an RV and had to make a new entry point for the black tank. My local dealer sold me the rubber seal. Don't know if that will help you.
