Ground control 3.0 rear stab
Here's one for you... A few weeks ago while leveling I heard a loud pop. Checked things out and all seemed good. Took another trip. It leveled fine, but I noticed the motor had a lot of movement as the jack was extended. I've been pretty busy, so wasn't till today when I was addressing a couple other issues that I checked it out and found the motor and it's mounting assembly move freely on top of the jack. The motor assembly will swivel from side to side. Anyone seen this?

The leg is still solidly attached to the frame of the trailer. It's the motor that moves. As I put this photo together I think I found the culpret. That bolt that goes in where the motor is attached on top of the leg is gone on my unit. Or broken. The only thing keeping it working is probably the fact the motor can't move up because it hits the the bottom of the trailer.

Ground control 3.0 rear stab
Check the bolt that holds to motor onto the leg
Actually, there’s 2 if I remember correctly. One on each side. Sounds like one may have snapped or fallen out
Edit.
You can see the bolt head in the picture just above the black body of the leg at the base of the motor

Now just need to figure out what size those motor retention bolts are and replace them. I really hate to park at the dealer for a month or 2 for this as a warranty claim. I think both may be gone. Maybe one was missing already, and the other over stressed.

I think I have a spare in the garage...Let me check to see if I can find out what size bolt it takes.

Sorry...I have the spare motor but not the bolts. I had to reuse my old bolts when I replaced my landing leg that failed

Pulled a bolt from the other side jack and headed to get a couple more.
For anyone else who has this system, I pulled the other bolt without tools. Both were lose on the other side. Not even hand tight. Never thought to check these over the last couple years. I'm guessing road vibration loosens them a bit and that's how I lost them. May apply a little locktite now.

When I replaced mine, those bolts were extra tight! But a little blue loctite wouldn’t be a bad idea at all

Ground Control to Major Tom
Your circuit's dead, there's something wrong
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you "Here am I floating 'round my tin can
Far above the moon
Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do"
Sorry... I couldn’t resist... LOL
