As a money making business option, I'd piggy back that onto a real estate / home inspector license. The RV credentials aren't worth a lot on their own, but in combination with a regulated license issued by the state you live in, it could be worthwhile. I guess unless I was trying to get a job at the Camping World service dept, or start my own RV repair shop and just wanted the additional education to get me running, I'm not sure where the value really is.. don't let that stop you though. Really have to know what your end game is for having those 'credentials' and if it helps you get there. For me, no.
Like others indicated above me, liability insurance is critical if it's anything more than a hobby primarily directed towards breaking your own toys.
