ENTERED OUR NEW 2012 18 BH SLX AND FOUND THE HEATER FAN RUNNING. THE THERMOSTAT AND THE PROPANE WERE BOTH TURNED OFF. THE FAN STOPPED RUNNING BUT NOW I CANNOT GET THE HEATER TO WORK, HAVE A FLASHING RED LITE IN 3 BLINK INTERVALS. HAVE TRIED TO FOLLOW OWNERS MANUAL BUT FIND IT A BIT CONFUSING, ANY SUGGESTIONS? thanks

1. Stop shouting
2. Relax.
3. Give us some details like the make and model of your furnace.

Do your other propane appliances work? Can you light a burner on the stove? I have no clue what the flashing red light means but it may be lacking propane. One thing you might try is to turn off the valve at the tank and SLOWLY turn it back on... turn on one of your burners on your stove... and try lighting but you may have wait for 30-45 secs for the propane to reach the burner.

Is this a digital t stat that is flashing. Not familiar with your set up but it sounds like if the set point or the furnace called for heat and turned the fan on but wasn't able to get any because your gas was turned off it may coded a no gas with three flashing lights. Usually the fan will come on prior to ignition. Not knowing your system well you should have a fuse or a reset switch after you take the cover off the furnace. It should be on the right side. After checking, go turn the tank on slowly. Now turn on the t stat, now set the t stat to call for heat. You should be fine.
