Help interpreting propane gauges, please

Looked at the propane levels today and I think it means about half full on each tank. Is my read correct?

I’m including the valve setting photo for the sake of general information.

That gauge doesn't tell you how full the tanks are, only if there is some pressure or no pressure. Most RV'rs select one tank and when it goes empty switch to the other tank (most switch automatically but the indicator will stay red for the empty tank) and then refill the empty tank. ~CA

I use a ribbon system. Green on a full spare which is not in use. Yellow on the tank I'm currently using, and red on an empty. I use one tank until empty and then switch over.

Speaking from experience that style of gauge is very inaccurate. When it shows all red the tank is empty.

Roger that. Thanks.

I don’t like being in the dark on such so I’m shopping better gauges already.

Best guagecis gravity

Lift heavy= has gas
Lift light = no gas

With two tanks yer dialed... One goes empty, figure in a week go fill em both up

Easy peasy
