What kind of lock are you looking for. one that will lock your hitch to the tow vehicle or to lock the hitch when its setting so nobody can take it.

All those locks are good for temporary deterrent. I know a guy who lost the key from his Reese Lock and took the hacksaw and was done in 15 minutes. A battery operated grinder probably less than 30 seconds.
An extra ball and a solid master lock will do the same thing. Anything out China will do........lol. If they really want your unit nothing will stop real criminals from getting it.

You can never stop a determined thief.
The only thing you can do is stop the curious.

The one thing he didn't try on his lock was drilling out the lock tumbler.

Just picked up one of these from Canadian Tire for $26.
As previous posters have said, these are more of a deterrent. Just keeps someone from casually backing up and pulling the thing away.

The idea being to make it so the scum will go next door to easier pickings.. Most are LAZY that is why they are thieves.

I use a padlock. You just have to find one with a shank (length and diameter) that will fit the hole in the shackle.
Congratulations on the new rig, and welcome to The Forum!
