Hot water tank leak

Under tank is wet. Small drip under camper. Checked all water lines. Tank is in styrofoam. Cold in and hot out lines are dry. Is there a way I can find the leak without taking the unit out? I don't know if taking the styrofoam off would help but I'm willing to do that if it would. Any advice would be appreciated

When I bypass the hot water tank the leak stops. Will be going to our sons first week in July we'll pull it out then and see what we got. Thanks Bob

Once you find the root cause after the removal of the HWH, please post your results and feel free to post pics as well. Might want to pickup some Butyl Putty Sealer Tape for re-installing the HWH..., may need it for the sealing the outer HWH frame against the outside TT wall.

Sometimes HWH removal can be a challenge...., been there, done it on my prior 2005 Eagle TT back in 2016. Make note of wire color coding and associated connections (take reference pics).

Well I got the tank out, and it looks like it has been welded. I'm the second owner so it's very possible. So after getting it out, I fixed 1 fitting 4 water hose and the other I capped off. Sure enough there was a hairline crack where it had been welded before. Found someone that could weld aluminum and got it fixed. Save me a pile of money. Got it done for $55. Hasn't been leaking long so no damage to the camper. The worst part about this job was the Heat. It's really hot in Florida. I did take pictures of the wiring and did use the butyl tape. My guess the job took me probably 3 hours to do. I did take my time and I was by myself. Thanks Bob
