House thermostat

Our thermostat stopped working reliably on our last trip. I grabbed a battery powered home unit from the store and was not sure how to install it or if I even can. Our thermostat controls only head since we have a small wall unit for AC in our 154bh. We only have a red and a white wire coming into the old thermostat.

If the heating is actually controlled like a residential heating unit, use R & W on the new tstat
