Just returned from a 7000+ mile trip out west. The wife had a tooth break and I just completed a 968 mile run in under 24 hours to make a dental appointment they had open. Normal run for us is anywhere from 400-500 per day. Trip was towing our Jayflight SLX 212 QBW. Not one mechanical issue the entire trip.
Still less then when I used to make the run from the MN/Canada border to Flagstaff, AZ in under 32 hours. That was without the TT

Four hundred miles is about my limit. I have to drive through NYC to get anywhere. My usual highway speed is 60 mph and given I have to stop every 2.5 ~ 3 hours for a 15 minute bathroom break and make one 30 ~ 45 minute lunch stop I've about had it after 8 or 9 hours.

6 hours, 300 to 350 miles........like to relax when we get to our next destination.

We're about to make a 700 mile run (one way) in a few weeks. My current plan is to leave in the evening, drive as long as I can stand it, stop and sleep, then pick it back up in the morning. Hoping to make our destination in early afternoon the next day.
Things have changed since last time I contributed to this thread, we're in a MH now so long travels will be a little different. I'll update in a couple weeks and tell y'all how we did!

We went to Colorado a few weeks ago and I found my limit to be about 400 miles. If some of the highways and interstates didn’t beat me up so bad, I could probably have gone a little further.

Make sure you keep both eyes out for wildlife. We saw at least a dozen deer, two coyotes, a few fox, racoons, cats and a dog in that long run during the night.

We are retired so don’t care how long it takes to get where we are going. We enjoy the trip not just the destination so we usually go 200-250 each day (we have done 450). We drive 60 and stop often to stretch etc. usually off the road by 3:00. This allows us to check out the local attractions or just put our feet up with an adult beverage. To each his own but serves us well as we are well rested when we get there.

I use the 3 @ 3 rule, 300 miles or 3 PM whichever comes first, not in a hurry.

Each December we go to Florida for the winter. We have campground stops that we like which are about 250 miles apart (which is about a tank of gas). We’re there for 4 months so it takes us 5 days to get there. We arrive there relaxed.

The longest towing was Vermont to North Carolina, 720 miles in about 13 hours including stops, towing living quarters horse trailer and horses. Spent 5 summers hauling my daughter and her show horses all over the east; it was alway drive until we reached our destination.
With the camper, since we are limited to vacation time available, it's also always drive until we get there. The DH doesn't like long stretches of driving or riding, so no long trips until we retire and have the time to burn on the road - can't wait for that!

Back in the day a 12-14 hour hitch behind the wheel was nothing..so with fuel and stretch stops we could get in about 1000km (650 miles) at best.
These days...400km (250 miles) max...Works out good for fueling up anyway. We get about 450-525 km/tank.
I like to leave one site about 9:30 or 10 and be at the next by 4ish. A few stops to take in the scenery along the way, have a leisurely lunch and that's the day.

We are comfortable doing around 600 miles in a day. We have made some 850 mile jaunts recently, that makes for a long day.

6-7 hrs seems to be about the time my wife and kiddo have had enough. We could longer if needed, but that seems to be limit to get there and not be whipped.

With a Fifth Wheel and driving 90 km/hr (57 mph), 600km is enough with rest stops.
