How to replace water heater element

Hi!

I just purchased a 2005 29BHS. The previous owner told me I need to replace the heater element. It's an Atwood GC6AA-10E heater. Where is the element? I can't figure it out. Any suggestions? I have googles and every diagram I find does not show it.

Go to www.atwoodmobile.com

There's a section on the left that has schematics and parts lists.
This should help you find where it's located.

I found that site but there is only 1 diagram showing the location and it does not match my model. This should be simple.

It's a screw in element.

A=bolt-on
AA= screw in

Heater element is in the back (near the bottom), you have to take the electrical box off. Be sure to mark your wires.

Is that accessible from outside the camper or inside. I dont find anything that looks like that on the outside. The outside looks just like page 18.

It may be accessible behind an inside cabinet panel.

just look where it is located then go inside and remove whatever you have to remove. Usual the winterizing valves are in that location too.
