Husky electric tongue jack 4500#

I just purchased a used electric tongue jack and am running into a small issue. I purchased it from my neighbor who's daughter bought a new one due to thinking the motor was junk (it didn't move at all). The neighbor took it to a local electric motor shop and found out it was just really corroded inside and charged them to clean it up. I attached it to my camper and wired it up and worked perfectly. When I went to show my wife how to use it, it didn't work. I looked all over to see what the issue was after moving the jack just 1/8 turn with the hand crank it started to work. I have tried every day since installing and the same thing happens( at least 4 days in a row) Seems as soon as I let the jack sit 10-15 min is locks back up and wont work. I tried to use the remote and the switch, same results with both. It just clicks like it is trying to work but wont move with out using the hand crank a little first. Not that I mind having to move it with the hand crank to get it too move, still easier than the old crank, I was just seeing if there might be an easy fix if someone has ran into this before.
Thanks

My guess is the guy that "cleaned" it did not do a very good job. Sounds like the armature and brushes need to be cleaned. Possibly the limit switches as well. Husky, as far as I know, is the only manufacturer that uses limit switches.

If it can't be counted on to function when you arrive and when you are ready to depart...

It belongs in the recycling bin.
