Interesting Anode erosion

Just did the yearly check on my Suburban anode rod and was surprised to see so much erosion at the threaded end of the rod. It's really not a big deal, but it's going to required replacement before I use it again.

This is my first experience with anode rods as my previous MHs used Atwood WHs which don't require the rod so I've never had to mess with it.

My first Gulfstream Class C had a Suburban and that is where it always eroded first too. Maybe things settle there, don't know for sure.

Same in my fifth wheel. I check it each season and have a spare on board.

Interesting! Glad to hear that it's a normal situation.

Completely normal. Some are worse, depending on water quality.
