Interior ceiling panel replacement

Hi all,
Our skylight on our 28BHBE cracked and we didn’t realize it until it was too late. The ceiling panel is now warped and I need to replace it. I’m sure the ceiling insulation also needs replacement. Curious if anyone has had to do this and what is the best way. I’m handy and can do it myself. I know it’s luan board, but would like to have the same covering that is presently on the ceiling panels.

Thanks

You could contact Jayco and ask for the supplier to get a replacement but after 5 years, it may be hard to match. Look at some home stores for something suitable also. Mine is just a off white but it has a pattern that may be hard to match.

That’s the way ours is also, off white with a textured pattern. May just have to replace it and paint it. But if I do that I will replace the whole bathroom ceiling.

Same issue with my old camper... easier and cheaper to replace whole bathroom ceiling. If you can find matching panel it will cost an arm and leg to ship to you.

Ceiling Panel Sagging

I only have a very small area of sagging from a minor leak that was caught quickly and fixed. Can the panels be drawn back up to the studs with a small screw/s? I have some with those little clear snowflake style Rosettes and I wouldn't have a problem with how they would look.

Hi. Have had a similar occurrence. Did you replace insulation and ceiling panel? Could you give some details of the fix? It would be appreciated.

2006 jay feather ceiling panel

Hi,
The ceiling panels that are extending over the slide out are dropping, will I have to pull the slide out to replace that panel? Any advice will be appreciated.
Thank you
Jim

Some dealer's stock some of those panels check there first.

If that doesn't work check Bontrager's Surplus in Mich they may have one cheaper. You will have shipping no matter where you get it if the dealer has to order it.

Thank you for the tip. Do you think I will have to remove the slideout to access the panel replacement on the ceiling or can I slip it in without removing the slideout?
Thanks
