Exclamation Interior water leak 212QB

Recently found water between the floor and underpinning of our 212QB. I found that the potable water fill line was cut, assuming from a Jayco owned utility knife during assembly.

I have since ordered and replaced the hose (Jayco P/N 0223207, 1-1/4 diameter, 3’ in length).

I discovered the leak when reassembling the dinette after storing our bikes in that area (See Post:More Bicycle Storage Ideas, 08-25-21) for more clarification.

Also while I had the damaged hose removed I took the opportunity to enlarge the hole to help with reassembly.

My advice for everyone is to periodically remove one of the table leg receptacles
and inspect to ensure you don’t have a mystery leak.

Good info thanks for sharing. I had a leak as well at the water pump where water went down that hole, top of the tanks, then to the ground. Took a while to find. this is in a 19RD which is basically a short form 212QB.

I like the idea of enlarging the hole.
