Jayco Eagle HT 26.5 BHS heating duct

Just purchased a month ago the 26.5 fiver. I noticed in the front locker (bad design in my opinion) the heating duct runs thru it and is very cheap quality. Has anyone changed it or have any suggestions on replacing it with something
of better quality?
Thanks for advice. Joe

The heating ductwork is Mylar over a cheep spring in all RV's.

Hire a union HVAC sheet metal worker and have him or her build you a set of ducts that'll outlast the rest of your 5'r.

Or inspect the hoses from time-to-time and replace them if they ever collapse or tear.

Has anything broken or happened due to the very cheap quality?

You know that every single other duct in the unit is of the same material, so if Mike's suggestion (which I believe was tongue-in-cheek) is followed, and you do get a union tin knocker to build a new duct, he'd have to boot his gold-plated duct on both ends to the crappy RV-duct.
