Jayco Eagle slideout topper

My slideout topper has somehow pulled out of the edging against the travel trailer. It is not completely out, just in the center, quite a bit. The ends are still attached. Best way to fix?

Caulk that hole very tightly and find something solid on either side to re-attach the screw. It must not be screwed into anything solid.

Kev, are you talking about the fabric? If so, I’d suspect something has pulled the piping out of the channel, wind maybe?
There are several YouTube vids detailing with replacing the fabric and would try partially removing and reinstalling it if it’s not damaged. If it is damaged then get a replacement and put it in.
I replaced one of mine earlier this year with the help of a friend and it’s not a difficult job. The only “special” tool I needed was locking oil filter pliers which I bought at HF.

Yes, the fabric. Take a closer look but it's been cold and rainy outside. I did see videos on YouTube how to replace the whole thing, but did not want to take it off the tension Springs of the role and if I didn't have to. Slide the fabric bags in and pinch it some house that it stays and then reattach the edging to the camper I'm not sure

Sorry, I misread your post question. I have a friend whose bracket pulled away.
Getting it back in the track is going to be first figuring out why it's out. I removed one of mine last year to get to access to a gasket and my wife and I did it with little trouble. It's definately a 2 person job on ladders.

We relied on the you tube videos to block the roller tube, remove screws and slide both roller and rv side out enough to access the track it's in. It could be just needing a pinch to close the track a little.

Please post what you do to resolve it.
