Jayco Jayflight faucet issues

Two years old, and my Jayco Jaylight Swift SLX travel trailer plastic galley sink faucet cracked the entire length of the spout. I replaced it with another from a big box store. Tested it, it worked. Went camping and it began leaking at the base of the spout. When I got home, I replaced it again with one from a high end, privately owned building supply store. It was on sale, so I got a good price. It was so much better built then the one from the big box store. It works great! I made a shop aid from a piece of PVC, so I could access the plastic nuts without removing the sink. I also replaced my non-working microwave, my awning pull strap and my outside shower supply line. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy all this was, and how cheap the parts were. I didn't buy warranty insurance on it as I'm the second owner. The dealer warned me that the price of a fridge would more then pay for the insurance, but I said I'll take my chances. I looked on line, and I can buy the exact same 3-way fridge for $800.00, new, including shipping. I'm still way ahead of the curve, for the policy the dealer tried to sell me was $1600.00! Thank goodness, my fridge is working fine! I'm ready to go camping again!

I couldn't agree more. There are many who would disagree with me (us) but the insurance company has to be making money or else would not be in business. Ergo, I am self-insured .

Yeah, if they didn't make $$ on it they wouldn't want you to buy it.
