First time using the heater in our 2015 Octane 222.
I switch the thermostat to hear, the fan to auto and the temp to 90. The fan kicks on and runs about 30 seconds then shuts off. The pilot seems to be lit judging by the burn on my fingers it gave me at 3 am last night.
Most modern furnaces use a direct spark ignition. I am surprised you have a pilot light at all in a 2015 model trailer.
Anyway, you need to determine if the main burning is being lit. Often you can see/hear it if you get down by the furnace. Furnaces have a sail switch which must be closed by the flow of air from the fan. Then they have a flame sense that will detect if the main burner is lit. They also have an overtemp limit sensor that will determine if the furnace is too hot. If any of these are not working properly, your furnace will not light.
But first! Check you battery voltage, maybe it is low if you are not plugged into shore power. Also, check/clean all electrical connections to the furnace.
You definitely have a clogged air passage to the main burner.
There is no standing pilot. That setup is all electronic ignition.
Since parts were hot; "...burn on my fingers.." says that fuel was ignited. Just improperly.
Clean out all the air passages.
What would the main passage be? We just got back to the camper, I popped the cover off and snapped this photo. The silver cylinder on the right is hot as is the black cylinder and all tubing. Same deal, fan will run 30-40 seconds then shuts off?

And thanks for the help here.
That is a picture of the back of the fridge. Find the smaller panel with a distinct exhaust port for the furnace and snap another picture with its panel removed.
P.S. Ours requires a large flat blade screwdriver or possibly a quarter to remove the panel.

Often newer trailers (like mine) do not even have outside access to the furnace. You have to take off a panel near the floor inside the trailer. It is a royal PIA.

Seriously, you guys have to be some of the nicest guys on the net. I'm a moderator on a motorcycle forum with about 4,000 users. If some guy made a mistake this big they'd be murdered.
Thank you all. I'll see what I can find under the fridge tonight or in the morning. We bought a small Quartz heater at Walmart today and it's dinner time so I've got zero desire to keep playing with this.

Any ideas what's going on?
We had same problem last year and it was low gas pressure. After a chilly night I changed over to other tank and that fixed the problem. It was driving me crazy because I could hear the furnace kick in and then shut right back off.
Is your propane regulator working okay? Low pressure will work your stove, outside bbq, etc but isn't enough to fire the furnace. If your tank is getting low & your regulator is not working properly then the combination won't give enough pressure to light your furnace.
