Kitchen Door Issue

Hi there,

My outside kitchen door will not stay up after the winter now. I took off one of the shocks to get new ones but the dealer told me likely it is not the shock but that the door now has water and is too heavy. I dont want to replace the door if i dont have to as it is pricey. any suggestions on how to find out if the door is water logged and if so any ideas on how to repair it?

Any help is appreciated!

Does it feel heavy without the shocks?

A fellow camper with outside kitchen has to replace the shocks every few years, just the lifetime of them. He ordered them from Amazon, they are a standard part.
