Leak in undercarriage

Hello - my partner and I recently joined the #jayconation and purchased a new 2021 Whitehawk 32RL.

We recieved our trailer 4 days ago and on the second day noticed a tiny leak spring from the middle of the undercarriage. Just wanted to post here to see if anyone had any idea as to what this could be from.

1. First photo is of what appears to be another tiny leak forming at a pointy spot close to the hole in the photo.

2. Second photo is of the tiny hole the water came through.

It's not black or grey water because there was no soap or smell.

Illhouseyou,

Welcome to JOF

Are you connected to a shore water source..., or just water in the fresh water tank??

Assuming it's a fresh water leak, I would start looking under sinks, tub/shower/toilet, around the water pump. Some tub/showers have an access panel near the base of the tub/shower.

Also, there should be a removable panel on the underbody that accesses the slide motor..., removing it may give you a vantage point to view (with flashlight) a possible leak area.

Mositure leaks travel, so the source could be anywhere.

Bob

I would simply keep an eye on it for now and if it gets worse then I would take it in for warranty service. ~CA

BTW, Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forums (JOF).

First use?

Is this your first use? Did you recently fill your fresh water tank? Really cold water? The leak is a small amount? It may be only condensation draining off your fresh tank, as you photo shows the drain for the fresh tank nearby.

I'd keep an eye on it regardless.

I just went through this yesterday. First, I determined what kind of water was leaking. It was gray. Then I drained all three tanks, 1 black and 2 gray. (OR SO I THOUGHT) I also shut fresh water at the outside spigot for good measure. Still dripping after 4 hours. Then, DW said kitchen sink stopped up. Hmmm?? I pulled valve for kitchen tank and LO and BEHOLD, tank was not empty by a long shot. Evidently, kitchen gray tank reached overflow. After draining, no more leak. BTW, I stopped looking at the tanks sensors a long time ago.

Not connected to a water source. We are using IBC totes to fill the fresh water tank manually.

Yes, first use. We filled the freshwater tank on Friday and noticed the leak on Saturday evening.

Something I forgot to mention was that it did stop for a little bit.

The leak is small. I would call it a drop that happens every second or two.

I can't recall if it was cold. The weather was warm for those two days.
