Lippert never fail bushing kit
I have a 2011 Jayco 34' Fifth wheel that has the The Morryde 3000 equalizer in the suspension system. I want to install the the never fail bushings from Lippert. Is the kit that Lippert sells compatible with the Morryde equalizer???? I asked this question in another thread and never got a straight answer. Are the bushing diameter in the Morryde the same as the the Never Fail?

Why not just get the Mor-Ryde wet bolt kit?

Because I'd like to try the self lubricating type. Seems most folks like them.

I have the Morryde 3000 equalizer and my dealer installed Lippert Never Fail bushings. They didn't mention any problems.
When you ask about "Is the kit that Lippert sells ... " I hesitate to respond to that question; I have no idea what is in the 'kit' you are considering.

Sorry...
"My dealer installed Lippert Never Fail bushings. They didn't mention any problems."
That's all I got. Sorry it's not helpful.

That's not a problem. I'd much rather you tell me you don't know then guess or speculate. I'm looking for the guy that has replaced these parts and knows that they work. There's nothing "sorry" about being truthful!

Last year, I had an RV shop install the Lippert "kit" in my 2013 Eagle 5er. Afterward, they told me the Lippert bushings would not fit into the Moride equalizer, so they left that as is. They also told me, the original shackles were thicker than what came in the Lippert kit. Since the original shackles were in good shape, they left them as is also. So, ended up, the never fail bushings are in, except for the equalizer. If you have the same situation, you might save some money by getting just the bushings and not the whole kit. You can buy them that way.
BTW, I had wet bolts installed in my previous trailer. Nearly impossible to get grease into those. Don't say I didn't try hard enough, because even the RV shop could not do it.

The MORryde equalizer already has bronze bushings, not plastic. No need to replace those.

I bought a set of the never fail bushings online. BigJohnD is right, the bushings on the equalizer look to be thicker and bronze. I have not changed mine out but plan to just inspect the shackles and leave them if they do not show wear.
I hesitated to get in this discussion because I have not actually installed them. I did install the old Dexter wet bolt kit years ago myself. As stated, with the proper equipment and precautions it is not a hard mod to do in a day but also as stated, I had a few that would never take grease using the directions that came with the kit.
To me the never fail are the way to go. Still want to see some real time results from someone who has done it and seen if they hold up.

I'd love to see results of long time use as well, like 10k miles on our wonderful roads, then pull them to see what you have. Might be a while before anybody sees that.
