Loose Interior Light

I was testing out the lights, sockets, and switches and came across one interior ceiling light that is loose. It doesn't fit snugly to the ceiling like the others. These are the LED light sets.

Question is, how do I tighten it up. I am hesitant on just pulling it down, but I would think the light itself would snap into its base. I tried turning it but the whole thing rotated.

Any suggestions?

We probably need some more info in order to help, like the year/model of your RV and the location of the light. It wouldn't surprise me to find there are different fixtures for different models, so a picture would also help. In my new 23RLSW the ceiling light fixtures appear to be screwed into the ceiling; in order to access the screws you have to pop out the frosted lens first.

Usually the screws are under the lense. Pop that out and tighten them. If they are stripped, then get larger diameter screws to replace them with.

What is the best way to pry off the lens? I don't want to start digging around with a screwdriver doing more damage than good.

If it's the same as mine, you'll find that a thin-blade flat screwdriver will do the trick. The plastic lens has 4 tabs that snap into the rim of the base. Use a flashlight to find the tabs, and gently use the screwdriver blade to pry it out. You'll probably find you need to get 2 tabs out before you can remove the lens with your fingers. But a picture would still help! Without it I'm just guessing at your setup.
