Make my rig whole again

Last trip we arrived home missing an end cap for one of our slide awnings. It's a Carefree product p/n R00900wht. it's item #10 on the attached drawing.

Off course no one has any for the old Kover II type awning which is Discontinued.
I have looked everywhere I know locally and on line. Maybe someone may have another source.....Help.

Thanks, They have them $60 a pair. Last time I bought one it was $10.

Here is some good advise. Check these bolts because they loosen up . I found one at the web site listed that is black, not white and cost $36 plus $15. shipping.

Steep cost, as the last one I purchased was less than the shipping on this one and I have to paint it white. I was not going to get it but my wife over ruled me!

Thanks for the link to RVawnings1.com. They sell awning parts and fabric. They must get old stock from sources and resell.

My part should be here Tuesday, June 1st so I have to paint it white and my rig will finally be whole again!

I always check eBay for stuff like this, stuff breaks and people part it out to recoup some of the cost of a new item.

Believe me, I searched everywhere I could think of before laying out the request. This is the only one I could find.

I even went to the parts dept. at my dealer and they spent some time sitting on hold with COC who eventually told them that they no longer stock parts for equipment that old. I guess they assume everything tears up in 10 years.

We had the same part smashed by a tennis ball size hail stone. Hail broke a few other things as well. Carefree sent the feather-light reasonably-priced at the time part but charged something like $17 dollars in postage! The other end cap, with a large crack, has stayed securely in place for the past two years with well-placed gorilla tape.

Yep I was happy to get it but it was waaaw overpriced at $35 + $15 for shipping. It came in us mail in a bag, was used and black.

Painted white and moved on!
