Moving Electrical Outlet and Charging Station

I have a 2017 Seismic 4113 and Jayco, in their infinite wisdom, placed a 120v outlet and charging station on the side of the bedside table with very little clearance between the outlet and the mattress. So, that when you plug anything in it keeps the plug/cord under stress, plus additional stress each time you make the bed.

I believe in 2018 they moved the outlets to the outside wall above the bedside table top. I would like to move the outlets to above the bedside table top next to the headboard (1) or (2) to the outside wall above the table top. What I would like to know is, has anyone done this? Is there enough clearance behind the panels to accommodate the outlets? Is there any structural items behind the panels that would prevent me from fishing wires? Is there anything I am missing or should consider in moving the outlets?

I prefer to move the outlets next to the head board. I feel this is more convenient for use and the original wire is more than enough to accommodate the move. I would have to add wiring to move the outlets the outside wall.

I have attached pictures with the current layout and where I am considering moving them to.

I don't have a Seismic, but from my fifth wheel I can say you will not be likely to succeed putting it on the outside wall, and the radius of the wall at the back of your counter surface makes me wonder how much room you have between the wall and the fiberglass nose.
You might be able to remove the headboard and then carefully cut an access hole behind it so it would not remain visible after putting the headboard back. I would also have some concern over the wires having enough slack to reach the wall to the right of the headboard.
One other possibility: you could probable mount the charging station/outlet flat on the countertop at the back where is radiused and less likely to have items on that area.
On most of these end tables, you should be able to unscrew it form inside the cabinet and make a clean cut on a work-bench.

I would put the outlet on the front face of the shelf On my Eagle, I had one on the side and below the mattress. I just left it and extend the wiring to another outlet on the front.

I would suggest plugging in a surge protected power strip to the existing outlet, here is one I use in my seismic from Amazon;

Thanks for your input. If it turns out that I can't put it on the back wall, my fall back plan is to mount it flat on the back of the shelf as you suggest.
