Hahah nice faucet Norty. You're lucky and did it correct. You went from leaky to non-leaky. Mine wasn't leaking, then I replaced with a similar arched unit, THEN it started leaking. :/

Metal and plastic do not play well together, so I have learned. I'm getting well first, then going to install shut-off valves with metal threaded water hoses and re-install my new faucet.

Well the PEX and fittings are plastic as was the new body of the faucet so all was well. I was able to use the old gaskets and they held.

I did not have the shut off valves but plan to add them when we get home next week. Maybe get 4 so I can do the kitchen also.

Nice deal.
I want to buy 4 shut-off valves too, but the idea of reaching up under that kitchen sink gives me pause.

I don't have a full space under the sink. It is short, it's gonna be a back breaker reaching up there with most of my body restricted from getting closer, up in there.

I plan to cut the pipes and use sharkbite pex connectors in a location convenient to my reach.

I had drip leaks from seals on both sides. Much easier to dump the old original equipment, 13 years, than repair it.
Plus swmbo likes it!
