No A/C, Fan, Furnace

On vacation, no techs nearby. Dealer swamped on a holiday weekend.

I went to turn on the furnace and we heard the burner turn on for a second then shut down. At that time we were on full hookups. I checked the AC and fan and they wouldn't start either.

I have gas to all other appliances, water heater, stove, fridge.

All the fuses in the fuse panel are good. All 12V systems are working fine.

The small 2 amp fuse in the thermostat is good.

We drive 15 miles for cell service. Will check back to see if anyone has a suggestion.

There have been several threads about be a reset on the furnace. Also there may be an in-line fuse behind the thermostat so you need to remove it from the wall and pull the wires out.

Is there a 110 VAC issue? Check to ensure you are getting snore power 110VAC at the converter. Is the battery charging? Etc.

Checked all the wires, they look good. I'm pulling the furnace cover next. Thanks Grumpy

All power and gas are running fine. Only stuff controlled by the thermostat is affected.

I tripped the furnace breaker on my old 26BH once trying to put in a thermostat. The breaker was mounted on the furnace so the fuse in the fuse panel looked fine. The breaker also killed the feed to the furnace. I had to remove my sofa to get to the furnace...hope you have easier to yours.

Finally removed the cover and got to the switch. So far resetting hasn't worked. I also learned the current flows from the furnace to the AC to the thermostat.

I'm not an engineer so I don't understand the genius of having both systems tied together.

That is the 12 volt control circuit. Not enough current to have a separate fuse for each item, Check your fuses with a meter. Don't just look. Some rigs have a fuse in the wall behind the t-stat. Very stupid.

Checked with a meter and behind the wall. I'm assuming at this point there is a problem with the furnace either the board or the reset switch itself.

A mobile tech mentioned the Attwood furnaces struggle at over 4500 feet in elevation.
